Symposia

Up one level

The events provide an opportunity for conversations at a countywide scale about efforts to address point and nonpoint source pollution, watershed planning, volunteer recruitment, lessons learned and regional goals for creek and watershed restoration. The Contra Costa Watershed Forum will host a day-long Countywide Watershed and Creek Symposium. The conference, previously hosted in 1999 and 2003, attracted between 300 and 400 participants from a range of stakeholder groups including: community creek groups, nonprofits, local state and federal agencies, for-profit businesses, educators, resource managers and politicians.
