Meetings
The board meets approximately bi-monthly. Community participation is encouraged and welcome. We also are carrying out water quality and environmental health monitoring in the Delta and volunteers are encouraged to participate.
Publications
We publish a Delta Calendar yearly which is distributed to 5th grade students in Delta community schools. Other information, including findings on current Delta research, can be found at the website: deltasciencecenter.com.
Current Projects
Working with East Bay Regional Parks on programs for the Science Center at Big Break, now under construction. Also carrying out focused research on the impact of nutrients on water quality and health of benthic organisms in the Delta.
Volunteer needs
Delta Science Center work is carried out entirely by volunteers. Growth and success of the organization is dependant on volunteers and more help is always welcome.
Project funds needs
The Delta Secience Center is entirely supported by charitable gifts and grants. We are a 501c3 tax exempt corporation in California.
